A beautiful woman born in England in 1902, grew up on Kenya and was the first woman to successfully fly across the Atlantic from east to west on September 04, 1936. She took off from Abingdon, England on The Messenger landing in Sydney, Nova Scotia after 21hours, 35minutes from take off flying 2,212 miles across the night. It was 1:05 New York time, 5 September. The life of this beautiful woman is a legend. Doing a painting of her us a honor for me.
