1954 ARTIST COLLECTION,
Mexican Cinema was from around 1940 to 1965 in the first line in the world. Maria Felix in this film was not only beautiful but a superb actress winning The Ariel that year. I painted her using a black and white photo used as the advertising for the movie in Mexico. She's "Rosaura Salazar" a rural teacher following the directive of the President Miguel Alemán to teach the children of that desolated town.
